Exlogy (exlogy.org) is an independent digital publishing studio. This policy explains what data we collect on this website, how our social platform integrations work, and your rights. We’ve tried to keep it in plain language, because there genuinely isn’t much to hide: this site collects almost nothing.

What We Collect on This Site

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, self-hosted on our own infrastructure, to see aggregate statistics: page views, referral sources, and device type. Plausible is cookieless and collects no personal data — it cannot identify individual visitors, and nothing is shared with third parties. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any cross-site tracking.

Email

If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we keep the correspondence only as long as needed to handle it.

That’s the complete list. This site has no accounts, no forms, no payment processing, and no advertising.

Social Platform API Data

Exlogy uses internal tools that connect to social platforms — including the Pinterest API, the X API, and equivalent APIs of other networks we may integrate with — through each platform’s official developer program.

These tools access only our own business accounts. Specifically:

• We use platform APIs to publish our own content (for example, Pins linking to our own articles) to our own profiles and boards, and to read analytics about our own posts.
• We do not access, collect, store, or process other users’ personal data through these APIs.
• We do not sell or share platform data with anyone.
• We retain only aggregate performance metrics of our own posts (for example, how many people saved or clicked a Pin we published).
• Platform access tokens and credentials are stored securely on our own infrastructure and are deleted on request or when the associated account is closed.

We comply with the Pinterest Developer Guidelines, the X Developer Agreement and Policy, and the equivalent developer policies of any platform we integrate with.

Data Deletion

To request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, email [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will confirm and delete the data within 30 days. Since this site collects no personal data beyond email correspondence, in most cases that means deleting our email thread with you.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies. Our analytics are cookieless by design.

Your Rights

If you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale — and we sell none.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within the statutory windows (30 days under GDPR, 45 days under CCPA).

Children’s Privacy

Our sites are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

When we change this policy, we update it on this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top.
